Is Rosemary Essential Oil good for anxiety?
Rosemary Oil has a noticeably powerful influence on the brain and central nervous system. It is believed to possess brain-stimulating properties, and it has been used historically to support memory. A 2009 study followed a group of nursing students who inhaled Rosemary Oil while taking a test. The students reported increased concentration and information recall. The study also found that the students' pulse rates decreased by about 9%. Since a faster heart rate is a symptom of short-term stress and anxiety, Rosemary oil has potential to naturally reduce stress and soothe anxiety. Studies indicate Rosemary Oil's potential to lower cortisol levels, especially when paired with other calming oils such as Lavender.
